Experienced Distribution Customer Service Representative – Remote Opportunity at careerzynith

**Responsibilities:**
* Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, responding to inquiries and complaints concerning work orders, invoices, shipments, inventory counts, and other related matters.
* Process and input all customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
* Produce stock reports to check for product availability and ensure timely delivery.
* Coordinate special and last-minute shipping requests with the Traffic and Operations Departments, expediting orders as necessary.
* Provide follow-up with other departments to ensure service standards are being met.
* Verify computer-generated invoices to ensure proper invoicing of accounts.
* Prepare shipping and tracing information to customers as required.
* Maintain damage records and back-order logs to ensure accurate tracking and resolution.
* Communicate customer feedback to management, including any signs of dissatisfaction.
* Act as a liaison between the warehouse and the customer in administration of accounts and between the office and customers regarding invoicing and credit changes.
* Oversee all paperwork associated with orders and maintain corresponding files.
* Maintain a current and accurate procedure manual, detailing the processing requirements for each account.
**Qualifications:**
* High School diploma or equivalent required.
* Strong computer knowledge, including MS Office applications.
* Basic typing skills and familiarity with 10-key.
* Experience with shipping software systems, including UPS and Federal Express.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Ability to work in varying facility conditions.
* Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and potentially holidays as needed.
