**About careerzynith's Risk Finance Group**
The Risk Finance group, part of careerzynith's Corporate Planning (CP&A) division, is responsible for planning, forecasting, and evaluating global Loss Provision and Credit Reserves. The group also provides credit-related decision support to Risk Management, local Finance, and business groups on underwriting, customer management, credit, and collections activities.
**Key Responsibilities**
As the Director of Data Science, you'll lead the strategic evaluation of careerzynith credit metrics, credit provision, and reserve for Senior Management in Risk and Finance. Your key responsibilities will include:
* **Lead the strategic evaluation of careerzynith credit metrics, credit provision, and reserve**: Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize business and risk decisions.
* **Own precise information assets/packages within Risk Finance**: Develop and maintain preferred and ad-hoc reports used by Risk Finance and/or business partners; provide credit-related analytical support.
* **Develop and gift key analyses and suggestions to Senior Management**: Present data-driven insights and recommendations to inform business and risk decisions.
* **Build and keep relationships throughout Risk Finance portfolio groups and with companions in Risk, Controllership, Tech, etc.**: Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams to drive collaboration and achieve goals.
* **Provide selection-aid with a robust emphasis on growing analytics that identify traits and possibilities within the portfolio**: Develop and implement data analytics to optimize business and risk decisions.
**Required Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* **Advanced experience working with a maximum of the following is required**: SQL/Hive, Power BI/Tableau, Python/R, VBA, TM1.
* **Experience working with a sophisticated degree of Excel and PowerPoint required**: Develop and maintain complex spreadsheets and presentations to support business and risk decisions.
* **Experience in ML modeling is a plus**: Apply machine learning techniques to develop predictive models and drive business growth.
* **Solid economic and analytical skills**: Ability to work with large datasets and draw significant conclusions to inform business and risk decisions.
* **Superior attention to detail, alongside exemplary organizational and problem-solving skills**: Develop and maintain accurate and reliable data assets and reports.
* **Must be results-driven and proactive with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work within tight timelines**: Prioritize tasks and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
* **Desire to work on ambiguous tasks, growing clarity while achieving successful and significant outcomes**: Develop and implement data-driven solutions to complex business and risk challenges.

**Compensation and Benefits**
