Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Director of Data Analytics to lead our data analytics team and drive business growth through data-driven insights and strategic decision-making. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data analytics strategies, building and managing high-performing teams, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to drive business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement data analytics strategies to drive business growth and improvement, utilizing existing resources and creating new innovative ideas across the organization. Build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, including senior management, cross-functional teams, and external partners, to achieve designated objectives and arrangements. Guide key stakeholders on subject matters, providing expert advice and guidance to inform business decisions and drive outcomes. Partner cross-functionally to interpret and define business needs, develop processes, and execute against objectives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies. Develop short-and long-range strategies, plans, and objectives, and oversee the execution of policies, processes, and programs that have a significant impact on the organization. Make recommendations for the development of systems and working plans, and execute or modify working plans as needed, based on prevailing circumstances. Share complex data and information related to subject matters, and communicate with senior management to stay informed about targets and objectives. Build and enhance key internal and external contacts, including relationships with external vendors and partners, to drive business outcomes and achieve organizational goals. Essential Qualifications At least 2 years of experience establishing and maintaining strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including peers, colleagues, leadership, clients, and vendors, to develop strategies that meet division objectives within budget and timelines. Experience creating strategic initiatives that align with business objectives and budget, and driving cross-functional teams to achieve outcomes. Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems, with a focus on driving business growth and improvement. Experience leading cross-functional teams, managing client-facing programs, and contributing to financial decisions in the workplace. At least 2 years of direct management, indirect leadership, and/or cross-functional team leadership experience, with a focus on developing and mentoring staff. Ability to travel up to 15% of the time for business purposes, including within the state and out of state. Preferred Qualifications Graduate degree/MBA, with a focus on business administration, data analytics, or a related field. Experience with advanced coding languages, such as SAS, SQL, C, and others, and proficiency in system administration, including Masters, Vendavo, Vistaar, Salesforce.com, SharePoint, Wikis, and others. Experience using business intelligence tools to support data analysis, including Business Objects, Cognos, Tableau, Masters, and others. Certification as a Salesforce administrator or developer, with experience in training, coaching, and developing less senior colleagues. Experience designing and executing financial models to support complex business initiatives, and communicating with executive-level leadership both internally and externally. Experience with project management, including planning, organizing, and managing resources to achieve specific project objectives and targets, and proficiency in systems such as Cure and GIS. Experience with data extraction, data mining, data acquisition, data profiling, data warehouse management, and statistical concepts, with a focus on driving business growth and improvement.
