About the Role: IT Operations Research - Data Science Intern We're excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Data Science Intern to join our IT Operations Research team on a full or part-time basis, with the flexibility to work remotely. As a Data Science Intern, you'll play a critical role in analyzing airline data, developing predictive models, and informing business decisions that drive success. You'll be an integral part of our team, working on projects that span revenue management, freight, customer experience, and tech operations. Key Responsibilities: Analyze airline data from diverse sources and perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and insights. Develop and implement Python scripts and build models to predict behaviors and recommend airline actions. Work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team, seeking guidance and feedback as needed. Demonstrate a sense of urgency and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and delivering results. Present findings and insights to Operations Research and Business leaders at the end of the internship. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics). Proficiency in Python and SQL, with a strong understanding of data analysis and modeling techniques. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into actionable insights.
