Key Responsibilities As a Data Governance and Management Analyst at American Express, your key responsibilities will include: Managing financial data in accordance with the company's data management policy, ensuring the appropriate interview format and process for data asset management, metadata management, data quality, and problem resolution. Creating dashboards, reports, and data visualization packages for all relevant processes. Conducting root cause analysis of data quality issues and helping to improve management's analysis and response. Supporting strategic improvements to the data monitoring process and making necessary improvements to data quality and analysis tools. Continuing to support our current regulatory reporting needs through existing platforms in collaboration with our data providers, local business partners, and technology teams. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 2-3 years of experience in finance and management, with a strong understanding of data governance and management principles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders, including business process owners, technology teams, and company data management. Motivation and a strong work ethic, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather business needs and use them to guide the implementation of technical solutions.
