**Job Overview**
As the Data Entry Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our laboratory and customer teams by communicating effectively with leadership, team members, and other departments. This role is part of the laboratory production process and is the first step in producing high-quality results for our clients.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Receive and open packages and client sample drop-offs, ensuring that all materials are properly documented and stored.
* Accurately enter all data into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), maintaining the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Facilitate sample information flow between laboratory and customer service staff, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
* Label all sample containers, adhering to strict quality control protocols.
* Prepare bottle orders and ship them to clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
* Confirm receipt of shipped samples and packages, verifying that all materials have been received and processed correctly.
* Order supplies and distribute orders to the laboratory staff, maintaining a well-stocked and organized workspace.
* Neutralize and dispose of samples in accordance with careerzynith safety and waste disposal procedures, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
**Requirements:**
* **Physical Requirements:**
+ Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
+ Must be able to wear all PPE required for the position.
* **Personal and Professional Credentials:**
+ High School Diploma Required.
+ Working knowledge of computers, software applications, and other technology.
+ Attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent communication skills.
+ Organization skills and problem-solving skills.
