**Job Responsibilities**
As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
* Accurately and efficiently entering patient data, prescriptions, and other relevant information into our electronic health records system
* Verifying the accuracy of patient information, including demographics, medical history, and medication lists
* Communicating with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to patient data
* Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect sensitive patient information
* Collaborating with our pharmacy team to ensure seamless operations and high-quality patient care
* Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and careerzynith's policies and procedures
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A high school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
* At least 6 months of experience in a data entry or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting
* Proficiency in Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office and electronic health records systems
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals
* Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data entry
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
* Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality requirements
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting
* Familiarity with electronic health records systems and data entry software
* Certification in medical terminology or a related field
* Bilingual or multilingual skills
