About the Role: Data Entry Specialist As a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you'll play a vital role in supporting the design, build, testing, and maintenance of data pipelines at scale. You'll work closely with our teams to refresh data from various sources, process and analyze it, and ensure seamless integration with our systems. Key Responsibilities: Support the design, build, testing, and maintenance of data pipelines at scale Refresh data from various sources and ensure accurate processing and analysis Work on batch processing of collected data and match its organization to stored data Investigate standard performance, data-related issues, and provide L3 support Implement parsers, validators, transformers, and correlators to reformat, update, and improve data quality Provide recommendations for highly complex issues and guide junior team members Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven insights and business value Essential Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you'll need: A degree in Computer Science, Data Systems, or a quantitative discipline like Math or Engineering Basic knowledge of data engineering and machine learning frameworks, including design, development, and implementation of complex systems and data pipelines Experience working with multi-disciplinary project teams and strong oral and written communication skills A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications: While not mandatory, the following skills and experience will give you a competitive edge: Technical background in software engineering, programming, database systems, and distributed systems Familiarity with cloud environments and a deep understanding of optimizing computational considerations with theoretical properties Experience building robust cloud-based data engineering and curation solutions Knowledge of Microsoft Azure tooling for large-scale data engineering endeavors and experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL DW, and Azure Synapse Analytics Active development skills with the ability to work at the code level and help troubleshoot hard-to-resolve issues Skills and Competencies: To excel as a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you'll need: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Adaptability and a willingness to learn and grow in a rapidly changing environment Proficiency in tools like Flash (Scala and PySpark), Kafka, SQL, and NoSQL storage tools Career Growth Opportunities: At blithequark, we're committed to helping you grow and develop your skills.
