**Job Summary**
We're looking for a highly skilled Data Entry Specialist to join our Transportation team, responsible for supporting the efficient operation of our H.L. Transportation Fleet. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with managers to analyze business needs, integrate data from multiple sources, and create reports to inform decision-making. **Key Responsibilities**
As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
* Assisting the H.L. Transportation Fleet with data entry, reporting, and analysis
* Collaborating with managers to outline and prioritize business needs, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently
* Integrating data from multiple sources, including database platforms, to provide insights and recommendations
* Building, creating, and maintaining multiple Excel spreadsheets to support business operations
* Developing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and databases
* Providing exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders, responding to queries and resolving issues promptly
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Previous experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a transportation or logistics setting
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in creating and maintaining complex spreadsheets
* Familiarity with Microsoft Access, with the ability to create and manage databases
* Strong typing and 10-key skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with managers and other stakeholders
* A high school diploma or equivalent, with a degree in a related field (e.g., business, computer science, or mathematics) a plus
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
* Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics software
* Certification in data analysis or a related field (e.g., Certified Data Analyst or Certified Analytics Professional)
* Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
