Experienced Data Entry Specialist – Southwest Airlines Operations Support

**Job Summary**

As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a critical role in supporting the Southwest Airlines operations team by accurately and efficiently entering data into our systems. You'll work closely with our team to ensure that all data is up-to-date, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements. This is a remote workplace position, which may require travel for training, meetings, conferences, etc. Outside of those required visits, the majority of your working time may be spent in a remote location, away from our Corporate Campus.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Accurately and efficiently enter data into our systems, ensuring that all data is up-to-date, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements
* Work closely with the Southwest Airlines operations team to ensure that all data is properly recorded and maintained
* Identify and resolve data entry errors or discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure that data entry needs are met
* Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory requirements
* Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of data entry activities and outcomes

**Essential Qualifications**

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
* 2+ years of experience in data entry or a related field
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
* Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes quickly

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Experience working in a remote workplace environment
* Familiarity with airline operations or a related industry
* Experience with data analysis and reporting
* Certification in data entry or a related field
* Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance
