**Responsibilities:**
As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:
* Accurately entering and updating data into the organization database
* Verifying and resolving data discrepancies to ensure accuracy
* Maintaining confidentiality and security of sensitive information
* Collaborating with team members to improve data control tactics
* Meeting deadlines for data access duties
* Identifying opportunities for data automation and designing/implementing new processes to improve efficiency
* Utilizing challenge control abilities to ensure all tasks are completed on time and on budget
**What You Need to Succeed:**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
* Experience with SQL or database querying tools, including ETL and data modeling
* Proficiency in scripting programming languages, such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
* Knowledge of software development methodologies
* Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Excel and VBA
* Proven experience as a Data Entry Specialist or similar role
* Proficiency in data access and control software
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong organizational and time-management skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
* Effective communication skills and a team player
