**Opportunity Overview**
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a contract basis until the end of June 2025. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing, mailing, or uploading claims as required by law, as well as preparing and assembling state unclaimed property or other governmental agency claims. You will also be responsible for preparing notes in accordance with Unclaimed Property standards, utilizing strong grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills in all communications.
**Responsibilities**
As a Data Entry Specialist with careerzynith, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
* Preparing, mailing, or uploading claims as required by law
* Preparing and assembling state unclaimed property or other governmental agency claims as required by law
* Preparing notes in accordance with Unclaimed Property standards
* Utilizing strong grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills in all communications
* Handling tasks in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy
* Demonstrating a strong work ethic and a high degree of integrity
* Organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks under time constraints
* Handling and safeguarding confidential information
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
* Associate degree required
* Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research
* Strong grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
**Nice-to-Haves**
