**Job Responsibilities:**
As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
* Creating new, modifying existing, and executing ad-hoc reporting in support of business procedures and data-driven decision making. You will possess the ability to create relevant dashboards on Power BI and Excel.
* Developing robust Data Quality specifications and controls to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
* Handling and producing new data pipelines from source devices to the Data Warehouse.
* Collaborating closely with Monitoring and Business Analysts to identify business requirements, maintain complete documentation, and obtain business sign-offs for all reporting requirements, from daily operational files to high-level metrics.
* Generating, sustaining, and cultivating scalable data pipelines and data design.
* Utilizing data storytelling principles to create clear and impactful data visualizations using Power BI.
* Assisting in automating existing business processes and improving exception-based reporting.
* Working with IT and BA's to investigate, research, and obtain new data variables (data exploration).
* Analyzing large datasets to identify meaningful patterns that provide actionable results.
* Evaluating data acquired from multiple sources and resolving discrepancies.
* Validating data for accuracy by confirming against standards.
* Researching data errors and remediating poor data.
* Participating in the Data Governance plan by updating the data dictionary and plan & procedures.
* Analyzing and affirming metrics are effective and providing feedback to division leaders on styles that require attention.
**Essential Qualifications:**
* 2+ years of experience in in-depth data analysis.
* Solid experience working with Power BI.
* Proficiency in working on various reporting tools such as Dimensions, Measures, Filters, Calculated Fields, improvements, guidelines, provisional formatting, DAX queries, Interactions, etc. in Power BI.
* Knowledge of DAX, SQL, M Code.
* Proficiency in SQL, able to create complex SQL to generate files and analytics.
* Experience with ETL tools including SSIS, PowerBI Dataflows, or other Big Data integrations.
* Solid data modeling experience using star schema or other methods.
* Problem-solving through statistical analysis with large data sets highly preferred.
* Experience with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query.
* Experience with Smartsheets.
* Strong emphasis on the progression and timely completion of projects and deadlines.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* Experience working in a remote environment.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
* Experience with cloud-based data storage solutions.
* Certification in data analysis, data science, or related field.
