**Job Summary**

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a 06-month contract, with the possibility of extension. As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data into our shared Excel spreadsheet, reviewing and processing claims, and ensuring compliance with our quality metrics. **Key Responsibilities**

* Accurately and efficiently enter data into our shared Excel spreadsheet, ensuring timely finalization and payment of IDR awards
* Review, process, and adjust claims accordingly, per IDR awards and settlement agreements
* Ensure NSA IDR Claims Ops Team meets metrics and quality to remain compliant
* Read source documents, such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and enter data into specific data fields or onto tapes or disks for subsequent entry
* Compile, sort, and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered, locating and correcting data entry errors or reporting them to supervisors
* Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors
* Maintain logs of activities and completed work

**Key Requirements and Technology Experience**

* Strong attention to detail, data entry speed, and focus
* Intermediate to advanced Excel experience required
* Experience with Excel and Outlook, with a strong understanding of data entry processes
* Medical claims/Amisys experience preferred
* Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and manage one's time
* Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information
* Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel
* Completion of a speed and accuracy data entry test (may be required)
* Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED required
