We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a temporary to permanent remote basis. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for researching and responding to telephone and written inquiries in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner. **Responsibilities**

As a Data Entry Specialist – Health Insurance – Temporary to Permanent Remote, you'll be responsible for:

* Researching and responding to telephone and written inquiries in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner
* Evaluating customer situations, making decisions, and responding quickly to questions
* Entering data accurately and efficiently into our systems
* Maintaining high levels of productivity and quality standards

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

* High School Diploma or GED (education verification is not required)
* 1 year customer service experience in a health care or health insurance environment
* Experience evaluating customer situations, making decisions, and responding quickly to questions
* Data entry and/or typing experience
* Interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and independent decision-making skills
* Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills

**Preferred Qualifications**

While not required, the following qualifications and skills would be an asset in this role:

* 1 year customer service experience
* 6 months data entry experience in an office environment
* Experience working with various lines of business, i.e., CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management
* Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy

**Work Environment and Culture**

As a remote employee, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. However, you'll be required to attend an 8-week paid training period at our office, where you'll receive comprehensive training and support to ensure your success in this role.
