About the Role We're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support the prescriber assessment process and Good Faith Dispensing policy administration. As a remote employee, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our operations, working closely with various teams to drive business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Research and analyze controlled substance orders placed manually at the store level, determining if they are suspicious based on ordering patterns and circumstances. Generate reports and provide data to DEA registrants on store dispensing patterns, prescriber or patient profiles within a 48-hour window. Maintain up-to-date knowledge on issues such as controlled substance ordering procedures, GFD policies, and DEA licensing requirements. Assist analysts in creating and reviewing store audits for controlled substance losses, collaborating with Pharmacy Managers and Supervisors to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Manage the prescriber fee tag decision system, validating and updating prescriber information. Research and analyze requests for increases to controlled substance allocations, making informed decisions based on collaboration with Pharmacy Managers, Supervisors, and subject matter experts. Utilize skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and database querying to support analysts in creating presentations and training for store workforce and supervision. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma/GED and at least 3 years of experience as a pharmacy technician. Certified Pharmacy Technician certification granted by PTCB. Experience with prescriber licensing requirements (NPI, DEA, and state licenses). Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Experience with querying databases and analyzing data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions. Effective written and verbal communication skills, suitable for the needs of the audience. Preferred Qualifications Experience with internal Walgreens systems, including SIMS and IC. Experience with controlled substance ordering procedures within Walgreens (PDQ's, RxQuick Order, and Passport).
