Key Responsibilities
Query carrier data from various sources and perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and insights.
Develop Python scripts and build models to predict behaviors and recommend carrier activities.
Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team to achieve project goals and objectives.
Present findings and results to Operations Research and Business leaders at the end of the summer internship program.
Demonstrate a proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications:
A current GPA of 3.0 or higher and completion of at least 2 years in a college program with a focus on Data Science, Data Analytics/Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Availability to work the full 13-week summer internship program (May 13 - August 9, 2024).
Willingness to work from either the Atlanta or MSP office, with a hybrid work schedule that includes some on-site and remote work.
Proficiency in Python and SQL, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and teams.
A strong commitment to safety, security, and data protection.
A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent, and authorization to work in the US.
