As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring our subscribers have the best experience possible, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering top-notch service. About the Job We are looking for a hard worker, imaginative events manager who can lead the development and delivery of elite events from in-person to virtual and everything in between in India for external and internal audiences. From external-facing events to internal employee-facing events, you should be able to blend strategic thinking with execution at scale. You should not be afraid to think outside the box and offer groundbreaking ideas that would be beneficial, as well as experiment with the latest tools and technologies to elevate our events into novel experiences. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, have the ability to see the big picture, and clearly articulate their vision to internal and external stakeholders, as well as the ability to partner effectively and execute flawlessly in India for local and global titles. In bringing Indian titles to life, you will partner closely with a regional team of experienced event professionals while collaborating with local PR, Content, and Marketing teams. Key Responsibilities Conceptualize, create, and pitch innovative event ideas and proposals Collaborate with key stakeholders across various disciplines to align on event strategies Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills and think outside the box Ability to pivot quickly and maintain a positive attitude and sense of humor Serve as a knowledgeable expert on all things events, proactively seeking input and perspectives from cross-functional partners Produce innovative and high-quality experiences that are consumer-driven and unique to blithequark Adapt to hybrid or virtual events, with knowledge of the latest tools, platforms, and technologies Manage external vendors and agencies, providing oversight and guidance Provide the team with strategic direction on venue selection, vendor management, entertainment, and event-related requirements Demonstrate exceptional project management, budgeting, and time management skills, meeting deadlines and delivering results Essential Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: 4+ years of events experience, preferably from media outlets, including managing, executing, planning, and staffing events at a company, studio, agency, or with a brand A self-starter who can work independently and under pressure, while consistently exercising sound judgment even when faced with ambiguity Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Experience working in the Asia-Pacific region is a plus Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience in film or TV award campaigns Knowledge of the latest event technologies and trends Fluency in multiple languages Experience working with global teams and stakeholders Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Strong knowledge of event planning and management principles Career Growth Opportunities At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
