About the Job We are looking for a hardworking, imaginative, and detail-oriented individual who can lead the development and delivery of elite events from in-person to virtual and in-between for external and internal audiences in India. The successful candidate will have the ability to blend strategic thinking with execution at scale, and will not be afraid to think outside the box and offer groundbreaking ideas that would be useful, as well as experiment with the latest tools and technologies to elevate our events into novel experiences. Key Responsibilities Conceptualize, create, and pitch innovative proposals and quotes for events Collaborate with key stakeholders across various disciplines to align on the narratives to work through events Demonstrate ingenious strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills Ability to pivot quickly and maintain a positive attitude and sense of humor Serve as an informed captain on all events, proactively soliciting input and perspectives from cross-functional partners, including title and market marketing experts, Photo and AV Studio, Article and Publishing, to deliver effective event campaign strategies Produce innovative and first-rate experiences that are consumer-driven and unique to arenaflex Adapt to hybrid or virtual events, with knowledge of the latest tools, platforms, and technologies to bring our vision to life Manage external vendors and agencies, and provide guidance on the procurement of venues, vendors, entertainment, and event-related requirements Demonstrate superior project, budget, and time management skills, within tight deadlines Essential Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: 4+ years of events experience, preferably from the media and entertainment industry, including managing, executing, planning, and staffing events at a company, studio, agency, or with a brand (experience in film or TV awards campaigns is a plus) A self-starter who can work independently, and under pressure, while consistently exercising smart judgment even when faced with ambiguity Ingenious strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills Ability to articulate what is and isn't required to deliver a successful mission Be straightforward and unafraid to challenge, clarify, or call out obstacles Nimble with careful attention to details Excellent organizational skills and ability to focus in to complete tasks Fantastic communication skills Experience working in the Asia-Pacific region is an asset Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working with streaming entertainment platforms Knowledge of the latest event management tools and technologies Fluency in multiple languages Experience working with cross-functional teams Skills and Competencies The successful candidate will possess: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Strong knowledge of event management principles and practices Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
