**Job Summary:**
We're looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Entry Representative to join our team on an initial 3-month contract with potential for extension up to 2 years. As a Data Entry Representative, you will be responsible for entering claims in compliance with established procedures, meeting production and quality standards, and identifying and resolving eligibility edits. **Key Responsibilities:**
* Enter claims into data management systems in compliance with established procedures
* Meet production and quality standards, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data entry
* Identify and resolve eligibility edits, referring all other edits to claims examiners
* Work with multiple monitors, utilizing Windows platform and AS400 (MS DOS) system
* Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel to manage data and communicate with team members
* Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless data entry and processing
* Adapt to daily and weekly changes, demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude
* Prioritize work assigned, responding to calls and emails throughout the workday
* Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring data integrity and quality
**Essential Qualifications:**
* 1-2 years of experience in data entry, preferably in the insurance and financial products industry
* Proficiency in inputting data into data management systems
* Experience working with Windows platform and AS400 (MS DOS) system
* Medium skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
* Ability to work with multiple monitors and prioritize tasks effectively
* Familiarity with insurance products, such as medical or dental
* Experience in a production work environment, meeting daily metrics and deadlines
* Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in data entry
* Reliable and self-managed, with excellent communication and teamwork skills
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience working with provider data demographics
* Familiarity with enhanced product services and employer-paid benefits
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
* Experience working in a remote environment, with excellent time management and self-motivation skills
* Certification in data entry or a related field (e.g., Certified Data Entry Specialist)
