What You'll Do As a Data Entry Keyer at Blithequark, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data entry processes. Here are some of the key responsibilities of the job: Read and Interpret Customer and Shipping Orders: Read customer and shipping orders submitted in various formats, including deciphering challenging handwriting. Enter Data into Microsoft Excel: Enter data into specific Microsoft Excel fields while ensuring accuracy and consistency. Verify Data Accuracy: Verify data accuracy before entry and report any discrepancies to a supervisor. Maintain Accurate Logs: Maintain accurate and updated logs of ongoing work. Perform Administrative Duties: Perform administrative duties such as filing and copying for approximately three hours daily. What You'll Need To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Strong Reading Comprehension Skills: Strong reading comprehension skills, with the ability to read and interpret complex documents. Critical Thinking and Organizational Skills: Critical thinking and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects. Good Communication Abilities: Good communication abilities, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management. Patience for Repetitive Tasks: Patience for repetitive tasks, with the ability to maintain focus and accuracy over long periods of time. How to Stand Out If you have the following preferred qualifications, you may be particularly well-suited for this role: Basic Reading Knowledge of Spanish: Basic reading knowledge of Spanish (about 5 to 10 percent of orders are in Spanish). Experience in Data Entry and/or Filing: One to two years of experience in data entry and/or filing. Social Perceptiveness and Service Orientation: Social perceptiveness and service orientation, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
