Job Summary We're seeking a motivated and organized Data Entry Intern to join our team for a 3-month internship, with the potential for a longer-term opportunity. As a part-time member of our team, you'll work approximately 10-12 hours per week, Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, from the comfort of your own home. Key Responsibilities As a Data Entry Intern at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include: Accurately inputting data from various sources, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data entries Verifying data for errors, inconsistencies, and missing information, and taking corrective action as needed Assisting in generating reports and extracting relevant data to support business decisions Updating spreadsheets for production orders to ensure order accuracy and identify incorrect order amounts Creating reports to support order correction and completing order adjustments as needed Transferring Purchase Orders into data that will support production planning and updating spreadsheets, customer order dates, and verification of order accuracy Supporting additional Purchase order processing, including data entry and maintenance Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word Strong organizational skills to manage and maintain data effectively The ability to identify and resolve issues related to data entry, with a keen eye for detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in data entry or a related field Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends Experience with data analysis software or tools, such as SQL or Tableau A degree in a related field, such as business, computer science, or mathematics Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy and precision Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we're committed to the growth and development of our employees.
