**Job Summary**

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Clerk to support the Transition Assistance Program (TAP) at Barksdale AFB, LA. As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for:

* Inputting client checklist items
* Creating TAP Workshops in AFFIRST and updating attendance after conclusion of workshop
* Creating an event in TAP Website and updating attendance
* Maintaining accountability statistics for the Transition Assistance Program in AFFIRST
* Developing charts, logs, and summaries using data
* Providing daily sign-up sheets to TAP workshop/classes
* Contacting all workshop/seminar participants prior to class start date to confirm attendance

**Responsibilities**

* Input client checklist items accurately and efficiently
* Create TAP Workshops in AFFIRST and update attendance after conclusion of workshop
* Create an event in TAP Website and update attendance
* Maintain accountability statistics for the Transition Assistance Program in AFFIRST
* Develop charts, logs, and summaries using data to support program evaluation and improvement
* Provide daily sign-up sheets to TAP workshop/classes
* Contact all workshop/seminar participants prior to class start date to confirm attendance
* Collaborate with program staff to ensure accurate and timely data entry
* Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

**Experience and Qualifications**

* Minimum of 6 months of data entry experience
* Familiarity with internet databases and Microsoft computer software applications
* Proficiency with office automation software programs, tools, and techniques
* Strong typing skills and ability to work with a variety of office equipment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse groups
* Basic understanding of military protocol, support group organizations, and family systems in a military setting
* Ability to plan, organize work, and meet deadlines
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
