**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Clerk to join our remote team at careerzynith. As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our company's databases. You'll work closely with employees and customers to collect information, identify errors, and ensure that data is captured in a timely and accurate manner. **Responsibilities**
As a Data Entry Clerk at careerzynith, you'll be responsible for:
* Liaising with employees and customers to collect information and update our databases
* Capturing data into relevant databases in a timely and accurate manner
* Identifying and correcting errors, and bringing them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary
* Gathering reports, personal details, documents, and information from employees, other departments, and clients
* Scanning through information to identify pertinent information
* Correcting errors and organizing information in a manner that optimizes swift and accurate capturing
* Creating accurate spreadsheets
* Entering and updating information into relevant databases
* Ensuring data is backed up
* Informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered
* Storing hard copies of data in an organized manner to optimize retrieval
* Handling additional duties from time to time
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A high school diploma or equivalent
* 1+ years of experience in a relevant field, such as data entry, administration, or customer service
* A good command of English, both written and verbal
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed
* Proficient touch typing skills
