**Job Summary**

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a remote basis. As a Data Entry Clerk at careerzynith, you'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering and updating data into our internal systems, databases, and records. You'll work closely with our team to ensure the integrity and quality of our data, and contribute to the maintenance of our databases and files. **Responsibilities**

As a Data Entry Clerk at careerzynith, your key responsibilities will include:

* **Data Entry & Updates**: Enter and update large amounts of data into internal systems or databases from various sources (paper, electronic files, spreadsheets, etc.).
* **Verification & Quality Control**: Review data for errors or inconsistencies and correct any discrepancies.
* **Maintain Databases**: Ensure data integrity and help with the maintenance of databases and files.
* **Reporting**: Assist in generating reports and summaries based on entered data.
* **Organize Files**: Classify and store files organized for easy retrieval.
* **Data Processing**: Perform data cleansing and validation.
* **Confidentiality**: Safeguard sensitive or confidential information.
* **Communication**: Coordinate with team members or departments to ensure smooth data flow.
* **Perform Other Duties**: Other administrative duties as assigned, such as scanning, filing, or answering queries.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

* **Education**: A high school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require an associate degree or higher).
* **Experience**: Previous experience in data entry or administrative support is often preferred but not always required.
* **Skills**:
+ Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and data management software.
+ Basic knowledge of data entry and office equipment (e.g., scanners, printers).
