**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Clerk to join our team in South Bay, FL. As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll play a critical role in supporting the facility's operations by performing data entry and maintenance of our facility data system. You'll be responsible for recording all inmate assignments, housing moves, and work assignments, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is maintained. **Key Responsibilities**
* Perform data entry and maintenance of facility data system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is maintained
* Record all inmate assignments, housing moves, and work assignments
* Verify and update data to ensure accuracy and completeness
* Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
* Collaborate with facility staff to resolve data-related issues and ensure seamless operations
* Perform other related duties as assigned by management
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
* 1-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
* Familiarity with data management systems and software
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working in a correctional facility or related field
* Knowledge of data management principles and best practices
* Certification in data entry or a related field (e.g., Certified Data Entry Specialist)
* Experience with data analysis and reporting
