Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Data Entry Clerk to join our team at our distribution center in Carlisle, PA. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely input of time and production data into our Blue Chip computer system. This is a 3rd shift position, working from 11pm to 7am, Sunday through Thursday, with a requirement to train on 1st shift for the first month. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and distributing production reports, analyzing system output, and troubleshooting erroneous data, among other key responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Data Entry and Accuracy: Input time and production data for all distribution center associates into the Blue Chip computer system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Production Reporting: Generate and distribute Control-Plus production reports to management on a daily basis, providing insights into production performance and incentive dollar calculations. Data Analysis and Troubleshooting: Analyze system output to identify and troubleshoot erroneous data, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Administrative Support: File paperwork in accordance with established procedures, rotate files periodically for storage, and perform other administrative tasks as assigned. Collaboration and Communication: Interface daily with distribution center management and the engineering team, and weekly with the payroll staff, to ensure seamless communication and data exchange. Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills: Previous Clerical/Administrative Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clerical or administrative role, with a focus on data entry and administrative support. 10-Key Experience: Fast and accurate 10-key skills, with the ability to input data with high accuracy and speed. Math Skills: Good math skills, with the ability to perform calculations and analyze data. Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities. Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move boxes up to 25 lbs, with occasional standing, walking, and reaching. Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management. Preferred Qualifications and Skills While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are preferred: Blue Chip System Experience: Previous experience working with the Blue Chip computer system, or similar data entry software. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends and patterns. Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and resolve problems efficiently.
