Experienced Data Entry Clerk – Alternate Investments (Remote Opportunity)

**Job Summary**
The Experienced Data Entry Clerk – Alternate Investments will be responsible for processing trade deal purchases in customer profiles, identifying and addressing breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents, and processing corporate activity activities, transactions, and returns. This role will also involve analyzing complex issues, testing and validating new technology enhancements, and communicating with external partners via email, phone, Slack, Overview, and Salesforce.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Process trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identify/address breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents
* Process corporate activity activities, transactions, and returns
* Analyze complex issues and provide recommendations for resolution
* Test and validate new technology enhancements and provider modifications
* Communicate with external partners via email, phone, Slack, Overview, and Salesforce
* Review and analyze correct tax coding and corrections of income tax coding
* Address internal/external system improvements or concerns
* Identify and resolve breaks between TDA, the Fund, etc.
* Provide method or innovation service alternatives to Management
* Remediate transfer issues with the Fund or Opposite Firm
* Answer business partner inquiries concerning Fund details requirements/eligibility
* Provide follow-up on Substitute Expenditure moves to expedite the customer demand or remediate not neat issues
* Prompt and accurate finalization of client investing and dividend demands
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* 0-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
* Experience with Salesforce and other CRM systems a plus
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, finance, computer science)
* 2+ years of experience in data entry or a related field
* Experience with financial software and systems (e.g., TD Ameritrade, fund companies)
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
* Experience with tax coding and corrections

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
