Job Overview and Key Responsibilities
In this exciting role, you will provide critical support for content sales to global accounts, as well as TWDC's direct-to-consumer services worldwide. Your key responsibilities will include:
Supporting global account deal analysis and post-deal management for SVOD and DTC deals, ensuring seamless content distribution and revenue optimization
Collaborating with TWDC's Content Outreach team, Business Operations, Legal, Finance, and Accounting to manage all licenses of TWDC content for SVOD and DTC clients, both pre-deal and post-deal
Providing accurate and timely availability of all content, including long-form feature films, Disney+ originals, verbose content, promotions, bonus materials, interstitials, and more, while navigating complex rights holdbacks and restrictions
Conducting rigorous financial analysis and content valuation for all content licensing deals, working closely with stakeholders across regions
Preparing deal and trade outlines for senior executive decision support, and managing all post-entry workstreams, including drafting and sending notices, permit fee calculations, preparing invoice backups, resource distribution, and more
Tracking deal options, MFNs, and expirations to ensure optimal content distribution and revenue management
Supporting TWDC's Direct-to-Consumer Services
In addition to your core responsibilities, you will also play a key role in supporting the management of TWDC's direct-to-consumer services, including:
Providing accurate and timely availability of all content for our DTC services, while respecting complex holdbacks and restrictions
Aiding in the development of global and regional content windows and guidelines, collaborating with DTC and Content Outreach teams, and maintaining these guidelines in Disney Stage Delivery's rights management system (Rightsline)
Reviewing and revising rights passages with regional DTC and Content Outreach teams on a quarterly basis to support DTC quarter-end accounting statements
Supporting ongoing content valuation of DTC by providing global market data and comps
Offering critical rights management support to DTC domain launches, new features, and emerging business models
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you will need:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in the media and entertainment industry
Profound experience in financial modeling, complex financial analysis, advanced Excel skills, and expertise in analyzing large datasets
Solid proficiency in contract analysis, contract drafting, and negotiation
Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills, with the ability to present to senior executives
A proven track record of effectively managing and building strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
Some experience in global media distribution, with a strong understanding of content licensing and distribution principles
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, finance, or media studies
