Key Responsibilities
Manage the development and sustainment of products for the Media business, focusing on data engineering activities such as maintaining and improving data acquisition processes, data validation processes, ETL/ELT data pipelines, and overall process alerting strategies.
Gather data requirements, create source-to-target mappings, develop data validation scripts, and review data quality.
Design, create, and monitor ETL/ELT data pipelines, plan and execute database schema/tables/views, and deliver datasets as input to science models and representations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and integration.
Utilize various technologies, including SQL (primarily Snowflake and PostgreSQL), Python, Docker, Gitlab, and Windstream, to fulfill job responsibilities.
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and maintenance.
Proven knowledge and expertise using Python and SQL (ideally with Snowflake).
Experience with developing in a multi-environment (Dev, QA, Prod, etc.) and DEVOP practices for code management/development.
Experience creating and maintaining automated job schedulers.
Solid understanding of relational database design and functionality.
Preferred Qualifications
