Job Overview
The Data Engineering team at arenaflex is responsible for partnering with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain data pipelines, databases, and data systems that support business decision-making. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines, databases, and data systems that support business decision-making
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements, design data pipelines, and develop data systems
Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines, data validation processes, and data quality checks
Optimize data processing workflows, ensuring data quality, and scalability
Work with large datasets and big data technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar cloud-based platforms
Develop and maintain automated workflows, using tools like Apache Airflow or similar workflow management systems
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop and deploy data models and algorithms
Ensure data security, compliance, and governance, adhering to industry standards and best practices


Essential Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and maintenance
Proven expertise in Python and SQL (preferably with Snowflake)
Experience with developing in a multi-environment (Dev, QA, Prod, etc.) and DEVOP practices for code management/development
Experience with creating and maintaining automated work schedulers
Solid understanding of relational database design and functionality


Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar cloud-based platforms
Proficiency in cloud architecture and product offerings, preferably AWS
Experience managing and deploying code using a source control system like GitLab/GitHub
