**Job Responsibilities**
As a Data Engineer on our Cyber ML/AI team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data systems that support our cyber security initiatives. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Participating in data warehousing across multiple databases and identifying opportunities to develop data schema within Cyber Security
* Reviewing and analyzing simple data control business, operational, or technical assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of options and exercising independent judgment to guide medium-risk deliverables
* Presenting recommendations for resolving more complex data control conditions and exercising independent judgment while developing understanding of the business data policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
* Collaborating and consulting with technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders, including internal and external clients as applicable
**Required Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
* 2+ years of data engineering experience, or equivalent validated by one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
* Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C#, with a minimum of 2 years of experience
* Experience working with data analysis tools, such as PowerBI, Tableau, Splunk, or similar
* Experience in building data engineering pipelines for diverse data sources (databases, APIs, etc.)
**Desired Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:
* Minimum of 1 year of data analysis experience in the financial services industry
* Minimum of 1 year of cyber security experience
* Experience working with visualization tools, such as PowerBI, Tableau, Splunk, or similar
* Experience in building data engineering pipelines for diverse data sources (databases, APIs, etc.)
