**About the Role**
As a Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in designing and developing cloud-based data pipelines that support our business operations. You'll work closely with our Data Science team to develop and maintain data sets, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data warehouse solutions that drive business insights and decision-making. Your expertise will be essential in helping us navigate the complexities of large-scale data processing and analysis.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design and develop cloud-based data pipelines using SQL, Python, and other relevant technologies
* Collaborate with Data Science team to develop and maintain data sets, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data warehouse solutions
* Develop and implement data quality and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity
* Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data requirements and develop solutions to meet business needs
* Develop and maintain automated workflows and data pipelines using tools like Docker and GitLab
* Collaborate with DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of data pipelines and applications
* Develop and maintain documentation and knowledge base for data pipelines and applications
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
* 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
* Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience working with Snowflake and PostgreSQL
* Experience with Docker, GitLab, and other DevOps tools
* Strong understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts
* Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS
* Experience with source control tools like GitLab or GitHub
* Experience with automated workflow schedulers
* Strong understanding of data governance and data quality concepts
* Experience working with data visualization tools and technologies
