**Job Summary**
As a Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting cloud-based data pipelines that drive business insights and decision-making. You'll work closely with our Choice Science, Client, and Innovation teams to deliver high-quality data solutions that meet the needs of our business. Your expertise in data engineering, cloud computing, and data analytics will enable you to make a significant impact on our organization.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design, develop, and support cloud-based data pipelines using SQL, Python, and other technologies
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design data solutions, and implement data pipelines
* Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines, data set designs, and data visualization tools
* Ensure data quality, accuracy, and security through data validation, testing, and monitoring
* Work with data scientists and analysts to deliver high-quality data insights and recommendations
* Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering and cloud computing
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
* 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
* Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in Snowflake and PostgreSQL
* Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or AWS
* Strong understanding of data set design and data modeling
* Experience with source control systems, such as GitLab or GitHub
* Experience with Docker and containerization
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies
* Proficiency in cloud design and product development, with experience in AWS
* Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
* Experience with machine learning and data science frameworks, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
* Strong understanding of data governance and data security best practices
