We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team and help us drive business value through data-driven insights. As a Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud-based data pipelines, ensuring that our data is accurate, reliable, and easily accessible to our stakeholders. **About arenaflex** arenaflex is a private organization that's home to some of the world's most beloved brands, including Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, Disney Media Networks, and ESPN. Our company is built on a rich legacy of innovation and creativity, and we're committed to using data science and engineering to drive business growth and improve customer experiences. **Job Summary** As a Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud-based data pipelines, ensuring that our data is accurate, reliable, and easily accessible to our stakeholders. You'll work closely with our Choice Science, Client, and Innovation colleagues to develop and sustain cutting-edge data-driven solutions, using a range of technologies including SQL, Python, Docker, and GitLab. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based data pipelines using SQL, Python, and other technologies * Collaborate with our Choice Science, Client, and Innovation colleagues to develop and sustain cutting-edge data-driven solutions * Work with our data scientists to develop and deploy data models and visualizations * Develop and maintain automated workflows and data pipelines using ETL/ELT tools * Ensure data quality, accuracy, and reliability through data validation and testing * Collaborate with our DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of data pipelines * Develop and maintain documentation for data pipelines and workflows * Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for data engineering **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field * 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support * Strong experience with Python and SQL (ideally with Snowflake) * Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar * Experience with automated workflow schedulers and data pipelines * Strong understanding of data modeling and data governance * Experience with source control tools, such as GitLab or GitHub **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies * Proficiency in cloud design and product development, ideally with AWS * Experience with containerization using Docker * Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI * Experience with machine learning and data science tools, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch **What We Offer** * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunity to work with a leading innovator in the entertainment industry * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Professional development and growth opportunities * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options * Access to cutting-edge technologies and tools * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance **How to Apply** If you're a motivated and experienced data engineer looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
