**Job Responsibilities**
As a Data Collection Operator at careerzynith, you'll play a critical role in supporting our robotics and automation projects. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Walking a pre-determined check path each day to collect data
* Wearing a motion capture suit and performing various actions and moves based on task requirements
* Starting and stopping recording devices and performing minor device and software debugging
* Providing feedback on the performance of the device
* Analyzing and filing data collected during the shift
* Uploading data collected and writing daily reports detailing observations and issues
* Ensuring assigned devices are in good working condition and safely transported to different testing sites
* Communicating with management to address any issues that arise
**What You'll Bring**
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Ability to walk 7+ hours a day while wearing up to 30 lbs of equipment
* Height between 5'7" and 5'11" to accommodate the use of motion capture suits
* Ability to walk up and down stairs
* Excellent physical coordination, fitness, and kinesthetic awareness
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day/night shifts and 1 weekend day + additional time as needed
* Ability to travel up to 25% of the time and daily local driving
* Ability to adapt performance based on feedback
* Comfortable working independently with limited oversight
* Experience troubleshooting hardware and/or software, mechanical experience a plus
* Experience using VR devices a plus
* Excellent written and spoken English
* Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively as part of a team
* Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and writing reports/documentation
