Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our Operations Technology Solutions (OTS) Data Team. As a Data Architect at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in developing blueprints for data control structures, designing plans to integrate, centralize, defend, and maintain data sources, and translating business techniques and requirements into world-class technical solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping us develop, optimize, and oversee our conceptual and logical data structures, ensuring alignment with our overall business needs. Key Responsibilities Lead and assist in providing oversight into the design of end-to-end data solutions, including data structure, data integration, data modeling, security, privacy, regulatory, performance, data governance, business intelligence, and more Provide technical oversight and guidance on data infrastructure, ensuring consistency and adherence to architectural standards and best practices Participate in and lead discovery sessions with primary business stakeholders to acquire data on business objectives, challenges, and requirements Present proposed solutions to technical forums during evaluation sessions, articulating and communicating designs to stakeholder groups Support solution delivery by providing insights to software development groups and project managers, planning and executing delivery activities Support implementation methods in affiliation with internal and external development groups, participating in project-related activities Ensure achievement of high-quality implemented solutions, adhering to technology strategies, standards, and best practices Help create solution architecture files that describe and explain solution attributes and related benefits Stay up-to-date on emergent technologies applicable to supporting data solutions for customers Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in Data Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field 3+ years of proven experience in designing and implementing current data architectures to support large-scale data solutions Expert knowledge of data styles to support architectures and data management concepts/methods, including ETL/ELT, Data Mesh, data lake, data lakehouse, data warehouse, data streaming, data virtualization, and more Strong knowledge of data modeling (dimensional, data vault, etc.) concepts and strategies based on established methodologies Strong knowledge of ETL tools, including Informatica, SSIS, Talend, DataStage, etc., as well as standards and best practices for ETL development frameworks Strong knowledge of data governance framework concepts and vendor solutions Experience with data manipulation and visualization tools, including Tableau, Power BI, etc. Strong knowledge of SQL and proven ability to use SQL to a wide range of business requirements Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data structures and architecture Proficient in building robust structures using encryption, access control, network security, and advanced data security Knowledge of MDM concepts and solutions Demonstrated experience deploying data solutions in Big Data environments Strong analytical and decision-making abilities Experience working in multidisciplinary, distributed, and collaborative environments Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: MBA, MS, or MA in Data Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field Related professional certifications and/or education are considered an asset Exceptional innovative reasoning and design abilities to perform duties and tasks efficiently Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
