**Key Responsibilities**
As a Data Analyst & Online Chat Assistant, you'll be responsible for:
* Developing and maintaining coverage to support business procedures and data-driven decision making
* Creating dashboards on Power BI and Excel to provide actionable insights
* Developing and managing data quality specifications and management to ensure data integrity and accessibility
* Creating new data pipelines from source systems to the Data Warehouse
* Collaborating with Monitoring and Business Analysts to understand business needs and obtain business sign-offs for all reporting requirements
* Developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data architecture
* Utilizing data storytelling principles to create clear and impactful data visualizations using Power BI
* Helping automate existing business processes and improving exception-based reporting
* Partnering with IT and business stakeholders to discover, analyze, and obtain new data variables (data mining)
* Evaluating large datasets to identify relevant patterns and provide actionable results
* Validating data for accuracy by verifying against requirements
* Researching and remediating data errors
* Participating in the Data Governance program by updating the data dictionary and plan & methods
* Examining and validating metrics to ensure effectiveness and providing recommendations to team leaders on areas that require attention
**Essential Qualifications**
* 2 years of experience performing comprehensive data analysis
* Strong experience working with Power BI, including:
+ Working with different visual objects like Dimensions, Solutions, Filters, Computed Fields, measures, parameters, conditional formatting, DAX queries, Interactions, etc.
+ Knowledge of DAX, SQL, M Code
* Experience with SQL, including writing complex SQL queries to create files and analytics
* Experience with ETL tools like SSIS, Power BI Dataflows, or other Big Data integrations
* Strong data modeling experience using star schema or other procedures
* Problem-solving skills with statistical analysis and large data sets (highly preferable)
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query
* Experience with Smartsheets
* Strong effort in the progression and timely completion of projects and deadlines
