**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop and maintain comprehensive data analysis and reporting capabilities to support business procedures and data-driven decision making
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, preserve complete records, and obtain business sign-offs for all reporting requirements
* Design and implement scalable data pipelines and data architecture to meet departmental demands
* Utilize data storytelling principles to create clear and impactful data visualizations using Power BI
* Help automate existing business processes and enhance exception-based reporting
* Partner with IT and business stakeholders to discover, analyze, and implement new data variables (data mining)
* Evaluate large datasets to identify relevant patterns and provide actionable insights
* Validate data for accuracy and completeness by verifying against requirements
* Research and remediate data errors
* Participate in the Data Governance program by updating the data dictionary and plan & methods
* Examine and validate metrics to ensure effectiveness and provide recommendations to team leaders on areas that require attention
**Essential Qualifications:**
* 2+ years of experience in comprehensive data analysis and reporting
* Strong experience working with Power BI, including designing and implementing dashboards and reports
* Knowledge of DAX, SQL, and M Code
* Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex SQL queries to create files and analytics
* Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Power BI Dataflows, or other Big Data integrations
* Strong data modeling experience using star schema or other procedures
* Problem-solving skills with statistical analysis and large data sets
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query
* Familiarity with Smartsheets
* Strong effort in the progression and timely completion of projects and deadlines
