**Key Responsibilities:**
As a Data Analyst & Online Chat Assistant, you will be responsible for:
* Developing and maintaining coverage to support business processes and data-driven decision making
* Creating dashboards on Power BI and Excel to provide actionable insights
* Developing and managing data quality specifications and standards to ensure data integrity and accessibility
* Creating new data pipelines from source systems to the data warehouse
* Collaborating with Monitoring and Business Analysts to understand business needs, maintain complete records, and obtain business sign-offs for all reporting requirements
* Developing scalable data pipelines and data architecture
* Utilizing data storytelling principles to create clear and impactful data visualizations using Power BI
* Helping automate existing business processes and improving exception-based reporting
* Partnering with IT and business stakeholders to discover, analyze, and obtain new data variables (data mining)
* Evaluating large datasets to identify relevant patterns and provide actionable results
* Validating data for accuracy by verifying against requirements
* Researching data errors and remediating poor data
* Participating in the Data Governance program by updating the data dictionary and plan & methods
* Examining and validating metrics to ensure effectiveness and providing feedback to team leaders on areas that require attention
**Essential Qualifications:**
* 2+ years of experience in comprehensive data analysis
* Strong experience working with Power BI, including:
+ Dimensions, Solutions, Filters, Computed Fields, makeovers, parameters, conditional formatting, DAX queries, Interactions, etc.
* Knowledge of DAX, SQL, and M Code
* Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex SQL queries to create files and analytics
* Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Power BI Dataflows, or other Big Data integrations
* Strong data modeling experience using star schema or other procedures
* Problem-solving skills with statistical analysis and large data sets (highly preferable)
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query
* Experience with Smartsheets
* Strong effort in the progression and timely completion of projects and deadlines
