You will be responsible for developing and maintaining data coverage, providing departmental insights on efficiency, and creating data visualizations to support business procedures and data-driven decision making. You will work closely with our technology team to meet department demands and ensure data integrity and accessibility. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and maintain data coverage to support business procedures and data-driven decision making * Create data visualizations using Power BI to communicate insights and trends to stakeholders * Collaborate with our monitoring and business analyst teams to understand business needs and develop data-driven solutions * Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and data architecture * Partner with IT and business stakeholders to discover, analyze, and implement new data variables (data mining) * Evaluate large datasets to identify relevant patterns and provide actionable insights * Validate data for accuracy and completeness by verifying against requirements * Research and remediate data errors and inconsistencies * Participate in the Data Governance program by updating the data dictionary and plan & methods * Examine and validate metrics to ensure effectiveness and provide recommendations to team leaders **Essential Qualifications** * 2+ years of experience in comprehensive data analysis * Strong experience working with Power BI, including creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations * Knowledge of DAX, SQL, and M Code * Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Power BI Dataflows, or other big data integrations * Strong data modeling experience using star schema or other procedures * Problem-solving skills with statistical analysis and large data sets **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query * Experience with Smartsheets * Strong effort in the progression and timely completion of projects and deadlines **Skills and Competencies** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and collaboration skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools * Strong data visualization skills using Power BI * Experience with data mining and data governance **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
