Key Responsibilities Research, gather, and analyze customer data to identify trends and patterns that inform business decisions Develop and maintain customer-driven dashboards that capture key performance metrics Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, assess, and provide insights that drive business procedures Apply quantitative analysis, data mining, and data presentation skills to provide meaningful insights that inform business decisions Define and evaluate key performance metrics for new product launches Conduct exploratory data analysis, including hypothesis testing, statistical inference, and statistical analysis Work effectively with data stewards and data engineering teams to gather and process accurate data from various sources Communicate insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, mathematics, or statistics.You will also need to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply quantitative analysis and data mining techniques to drive business insights. Preferred Qualifications Experience with languages used to manipulate data and draw insights from large datasets (SQL, Python, Presto, etc.) Strong storytelling experience with data visualizations in Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc. Experience with data quality tools like bolthires DataPlex (Collibra Data Quality or SAS Data Management or IBM InfoSphere Data Server) Experience with quality testing using Selenium, Cucumber, or Tosca Experience in building multi-step ETL jobs/data pipelines and working with job scheduling systems Experience working with multi-faceted data on cloud platforms (Ideally bolthires Bigquery and Hive) Experience with data modeling (E-R) and have solid BI concepts Basic understanding of statistics and machine learning models Prior experience in the retail or financial business areas Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply quantitative analysis and data mining techniques to drive business insights.You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
