**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our High-Level Investigation and Content Development team. As a Data Analyst, you'll apply advanced analytical techniques to drive business decisions and inform content development strategies. You'll work closely with our content team to analyze client behavior, identify trends, and develop data-driven insights to inform content creation and marketing strategies.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Apply advanced analytical techniques (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, AI) to large-scale, high-dimensional data to inform business decisions
* Analyze client behavior (e.g., viewing patterns, engagement metrics) to identify untapped client needs and undiscovered content opportunities
* Develop predictive models to forecast content engagement and inform procurement decisions
* Streamline our content launch and episode release process to optimize engagement and retention
* Test and optimize marketing strategies to improve engagement and retention
* Develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance and inform strategic decisions
* Provide ad-hoc analysis support to partners to drive business growth
* Effectively communicate complex data insights to stakeholders through compelling storytelling and visualizations
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
* At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on statistical analysis and AI methods
* Proficiency in SQL and experience with R and Python programming languages
* Experience with machine learning algorithms, including decision trees, regression, clustering, and more
* Proven ability to work independently and apply creativity to solve complex problems
* Excellent data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
* Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
* Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud
* Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git
* Passion for media and entertainment, with a deep understanding of the industry and its trends
