Job Overview The Data Analyst will be an integral part of the Advanced Analytics, Content team at blithequark, applying analytical rigor to optimize the content portfolio, marketing, and delivery process. Key Responsibilities Apply advanced analytical techniques (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, machine learning) to large-scale, high-dimensional data to drive business decisions. Analyze customer behavior (e.g., type preferences, viewing patterns) to identify unmet customer needs and untapped content opportunities. Predict content engagement to inform acquisition decisions and optimize content launch and episode release strategies. Test marketing strategies to improve engagement and retention. Develop and implement new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance for both tactical and strategic decision-making. Provide ad-hoc analytical support to stakeholders to drive business outcomes. Effectively communicate significant results through compelling data storytelling across the organization. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or equivalent field. At least 3 years of experience in Data Analysis. Proficiency in SQL and experience with R and/or Python. Experience with statistical analysis and machine learning techniques: decision trees, regression, classification, etc. Proven ability to work independently and apply creativity in solving complex problems. Excellent data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or equivalent field. A passion for Media and Entertainment.
