Job Overview We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst and Quality Control Standards Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Quality Control Strategies and Guidelines Group, you will play a crucial role in driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation by identifying statistical trends and performance metrics to improve our Quality Control division. This is a full-time, remote work opportunity with a competitive salary of $28/hour, and you will be expected to work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Key Responsibilities Perform and assist others in the Quality Control team in optimal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data elements Assist in creating and presenting results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical stakeholders and leaders Help investigate critical ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and provide analytical responses to enable senior management to make informed business decisions while balancing existing project responsibility Presentation of insights, trends, and potential recommendations using data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the analysis to facilitate stakeholder understanding Assist in developing and distributing specific queries to pull and integrate data from various sources, establishing the cadence, and validating the necessity of the data requirements Identify irregularities in processes through audits and convey findings to the team Evaluate the effectiveness of processes and methods by monitoring for trends and anomalies Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the center of every decision May perform other work duties as directed by the team leader Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Strong ability to collect, organize, analyze critical amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy Ability to effectively listen to, understand, and communicate ideas and present written, verbal, or presentation materials to audiences of varying sizes Ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics Proficiency in Microsoft Office Knowledge of data visualization tools and capabilities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase, is preferred Ability to grasp the issue, to summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning Able to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications is preferred Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework is preferred Able to work effectively in a strong support/team-oriented environment Able to commit to responsibilities independently and be a self-motivated individual Past internship experience in a related field is preferred Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately Ability to plan and support large business initiatives Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in a relevant field Certifications in data analysis or quality control Experience with machine learning or artificial intelligence Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R Experience with cloud-based data platforms Knowledge of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we're committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
