The Role: Cyber Security Analyst
As a Cyber Security Analyst with Serverless Solutions, you'll play a critical role in safeguarding our customers from cyber threats. Your expertise will ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of their technology, and you'll be responsible for:
Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data
Conducting regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and risks
Investigating security breaches and incidents, and providing incident response
Developing, implementing, and maintaining security policies, procedures, and best practices
Monitoring security events for unusual activities and potential threats
Responding to security incidents and providing incident analysis
Collaborating with IT teams to ensure security measures are integrated into IT projects
Staying up-to-date on the latest security trends, threats, and technologies
Key Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience as an IT Security Specialist or in a similar role, with a minimum of 2 years in cybersecurity
Strong knowledge of system security principles and practices
Experience with some combination of MITRE, CIS, NIST, and computer forensics techniques
Familiarity with IT governance frameworks such as ITIL
Understanding of Information Security standards and best practices
Knowledge of Group Policy Objects (GPO) for Windows environments
Experience with SIEM tools, Microsoft Defender, and Sentinel
Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
The ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple priorities efficiently
