Key Responsibilities Connect directly with customers via phone, email, or chat to provide personalized support and solutions to their queries, ranging from product recommendations to troubleshooting and issue resolution. Analyze and resolve customer complaints in a fair and timely manner, using critical thinking and problem-solving skills to determine the root cause of the issue and provide a suitable solution. Work collaboratively with colleagues and partners across various levels of the organization to ensure a seamless customer experience, using virtual collaboration tools such as Zoom, Slack, and webcams. Demonstrate empathy, patience, and understanding when interacting with customers, and maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all interactions. Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, company policies, and industry trends to provide accurate and informative support to customers. Participate in ongoing training and development programs to continuously improve your skills and knowledge, and to stay aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Essential Qualifications 2+ years of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in the e-commerce or retail industry. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner. Proven ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple conversations simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box to resolve customer complaints and issues. Proficiency in using computers, including data entry, navigation, and troubleshooting, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies. High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred. Ability to pass a background check and maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with the ability to self-motivate and manage your time effectively. Knowledge of the pet industry or experience working with pets, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software, helpdesk software, or other customer service platforms. Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers who speak different languages. Technical Requirements A dedicated workspace that is quiet, private, and free from distractions, with a reliable internet connection (30 Mbps+ download speed/10 Mbps+ upload speed). A computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and headset that meet the company's technical requirements, with the ability to install and use company-provided software and tools. A webcam and microphone that meet the company's technical requirements, with the ability to participate in video conferencing and virtual meetings. A smartphone or tablet that can be used for two-factor authentication, with the ability to receive SMS messages and calls.
