Job Summary As an independent contractor for our Intuit TurboTax seasonal program, you will provide customer support via phone, chat, and/or video chat to Intuit TurboTax customers.Your interactions will focus on software navigation and locating previous tax returns and amendments. You will leverage your critical thinking and multi-tasking capabilities to resolve complex issues, escalating when necessary. Schedule andCompensation * Seasonal Contract:This contract runs from January to April 15th, 2024. * Flexible Schedule: You will create your own schedule, with opportunities to work between 7 am and 11 pm CST, Monday to Sunday. * Weekday and Weekend Options: You can choose to work on weekdays or weekends, depending on your availability.* Compensation: You will earn up to $19 per hour, with peak rates applying from January to April. Contractors who meet or exceed key metrics can earn an average of $16-$19/hour during peak times and $15.60-$17.50/hour during non-peak times. Required Skills and Qualifications * Sincere Desire to Assist the Customer: You must have a genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. * Tech Savvy and Avid Computer User: You should be comfortable using technology and have a strong understanding of computer systems and software.* Ability to Multi-Task and Navigate Multiple Systems: You will need to be able to handle multiple customer interactions simultaneously and navigate various systems to resolve complex issues. * Friendly Tone andProfessional Demeanor: You must be able to communicate with customers in a friendly, approachable tone while maintaining a professional demeanor. Technology and Equipment Requirements * Personal Computer: You will need a personal computer (no tablet) with a Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system.* Broadband Internet Connection: You will require a broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of 10 MBPS. * Wired Internet Connection: You must use a wired internet connection (no wi-fi or mobile internet). * Valid Antivirus Software: You will need to have valid antivirus software installed, running, and up to date. * USB Headset with Microphone: You will require a USB headset with microphone. * Webcam: A webcam will be loaned to each contractor for the duration of the contract. Work Environment Requirements * Quiet, Uninterrupted Space: You will need a quiet, uninterrupted space to work from.* Organized Desk Area: You must have an organized desk area to ensure efficient and effective work. * Professional Appearance: If you will be on camera, you must maintain a professional appearance.
