Job Summary

As a Customer Support Representative, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our card members through various communication channels, including phone, email, and chat. You will be responsible for resolving customer inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively, while also providing personalized assistance to help our card members make the most of their American Express experience. Key Responsibilities


Deliver Exceptional Customer Support: Provide top-notch customer support through various communication channels, including phone, email, and chat, while ensuring prompt and effective resolution of customer inquiries, concerns, and issues.
Resolve Customer Issues: Resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner, while also providing personalized assistance to help our card members make the most of their American Express experience.
Maintain Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our products and services to accurately address customer needs and provide solutions that meet or exceed their expectations.
Proactively Identify Opportunities: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience and recommend process improvements that drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Meet Performance Metrics: Meet and exceed performance metrics, including customer satisfaction, response times, and issue resolution, while also demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement and excellence.


Essential Qualifications


Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management.
Strong Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
Customer-Focused Mindset: Customer-focused mindset with a genuine desire to assist others and provide exceptional service.

Preferred Qualifications


Previous Customer Service Experience: Previous customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
Experience with CRM Systems: Experience with CRM systems and other customer service software is an asset.
