Job Overview As a Pharmacy Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in providing telephone support to patients, ensuring the timely and efficient processing of new patient medication orders and reorders. Your responsibilities will include verifying and revivifying benefits, translating and entering prescriptions into our pharmacy information system, communicating with patients and internal partners, and resolving accounts receivable or clinical issues. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional telephone support to patients receiving specialty drug therapy, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and revivifying benefits, and translating and entering prescriptions into the pharmacy information system. Communicate with patients, insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to ensure the timely processing of specialty medications and resolve accounts receivable or clinical issues. Obtain authorizations, collect copay amounts, and work with internal teams to screen, identify, and resolve orders with financial or clinical issues. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, orders, and resolutions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and arenaflex standards. Essential Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. No experience is necessary, but previous experience in customer service, healthcare, or a related field is an asset. Superb communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, insurance companies, and internal partners. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues and make sound decisions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease. Knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacy operations, and healthcare regulations. Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and pharmacy information systems.
